As part of Refugee Week, we explored The Journey by Francesca Sanna and reflected on the experiences of families who are forced to leave their homes. The children created thoughtful “courage maps,” identifying the bravery and resilience shown by refugees.

They also designed their own lift-the-flap stories to illustrate acts of courage, showing empathy and a deeper understanding of this important topic.
