Recently, the junior classes took part in a variety of musical workshops which went down exceptionally well! Pupils had the opportunity to try a number of different instruments and musical techniques such as composing, keeping a beat and performing their musical pieces.
One of our workshops was focused around the author Roald Dahl, where pupils used famous titles to keep a beat and create music. Also, each class took part in the Golden Ticket Numeracy Challenge which consisted of a range of numeracy based activities.
We'll be posted some of the highlights from the workshop in the coming days, so be sure to come back and take a look!
We'd like to extend a big thank you to The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and The National Support Partnership for coming in and conducting these workshops with the children. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
